Propylene Glycol is a non- toxic alternative to ethylene glycol. Propylene glycol is an effective replacement for ehylene glycol where possible contact with potable water and/or food could occur. PG505 is a buffered and inhibited propylene glycol concentrate recommended for use in systems that contain all copper and brass components and piping. This full strength propylene glycol concentrate contains an organic corrosion inhibitor with an azole supplement and pH buffer used to prevent corrosion of copper and copper alloys in closed loop systems. Not recommended for multi-metal systems containing carbon steel.
