Buffers maintain essential pH levels and prevent low pH corrosion in closed loop systems. Buffers are used to restore and maintain pH levels in closed loops or as a part of an inhibitor package used to treat glycols. Buffer solutions are not to be used as a stand alone treatment. B600 is a concentrated blend of buffering agents designed to return the pH of a closed system to the correct range. It is compatible with all inhibitor types and fluids. The additional buffering capacity provided by B600 will enhance corrosion protection to both ferrous and non-ferrous alloys and eliminate the risk of acid attack. For use in systems with low air ingress. The normal dosage to restore the pH will be approximately 0.5 – 2.0 Liters per each 1000 Liters of system volume.
