Description
Propylene Glycol is a non- toxic alternative to ethylene glycol. Propylene glycol is an effective replacement for ehylene glycol where possible contact with potable water and/or food could occur. PG 502 is a buffered and inhibited propylene glycol concentrate used to prevent corrosion of both ferrous and non-ferrous alloys. When diluted 50% with water, a molybdate concentration of approximately 200 mg/L will develop. The highly effective corrosion inhibitor package used in this product will ensure very low corrosion rates and consequently minimize the formation of corrosion byproducts in the closed loop system.
